Karanganyar is one of the areas in Central Java that contains many interesting tourist attractions to visit. One of the most interesting tourist attractions is Grojogan Sewu Tawangmangu. This tourism spot is located on the slope of Mount Lawu, specifically in the Village of Sepanjang, Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar Regency.

Grojogan Sewu is a waterfall that has a height of about 81 metres. This waterfall has a fairly large discharge, the water still flows a lot eventhough it is in dry season.  So, it is very acceptable if the waterfall is named Grojogan Sewu which means thousands of water flowing down.

This tourism spot has two entrances, one at the top and the other at the bottom. If tourists enter from above, they can find a lot of monkeys hanging from trees.

The second entrance to Grojogan Sewu is quite terrain-friendly and easy to reach. Although the road is somewhat uphill and is accentuated with rocks, it is still easy to pass through it. From this second entrance, tourists will be welcomed by a mini park.  There is a statue of a snake and a frog that seemed to have been posed in a fighting manner.

The two statues are flowed with water so that it would form an attractive garden to be enjoyed. Not far from the park stood some food stalls that sell the special food of Tawangmangu, Rabbit Satay and Hedgehog Satay, which are equally delicious.
